The BEE project would be a year old in August 2023, we are proud of the progress we have made so far.
We have followed an innovative approach to methodology collecting data from Tacoma through open ended interviews with ecosystem actors, conducting questionnaire survey, organising focus groups and reviewing notes made by participants at the ecosystem conference.
Our esteemed project lead in person of Dr Christina Theodoraki has recently been elected to the role of Professional Development Workshop Chair, Entrepreneur Division for the prestigious Academy of Management.

The BEE project team partnered with the University of Washington, Tacoma to host the South Sound Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Conference which was held at University of Washington Tacoma on the 12th of May. It attracted over 100 participants. The strenghts, weaknesses and gaps in the ecosystem was discussed among participants.
